Flintshire-based Anwyl Homes has promoted Julie Banham, from Rhyl, to the role of financial controller for the Homes division.
A key member of the senior management team, Julie has been employed by Anwyl Homes for more than 12 years. She joined the expanding family construction business in 2003 as finance manager and quickly gained a strong reputation for her consistent and timely delivery of accurate financial information that supported the effective running of the business.
In her new role, she will continue to be responsible for the financial reporting of the Homes division; liaising with the main board of directors and the company’s external accountants to provide a range of finance-related management information and reports including management accounts, up-to-date cash flow forecasts and profit analyses.
In addition, she will also provide year-end accounts, management of monthly controls and processes, continuing development of the accounts software together with implementation of new IT packages and manage the company’s individual housing developments profit forecast while overseeing the land option and Section 106 database.
Now responsible for a finance team of nine, Julie is pleased to be furthering her career with Anwyl. She said: “I have really enjoyed the last 12 years and have thrived on the challenges that come with being part of a fast growing and rapidly developing business. I’m delighted to have been promoted and am looking forward to further strengthening my team and providing an even more efficient and streamlined financial support function for the company.”
Housing Managing Director, Mathew Anwyl, added: “Julie is a dedicated and results-driven financial manager and her support has been invaluable to us over recent years. It’s a natural next step to promote her to financial controller and develop her extensive commercial financial skills and experience to the future benefit of our business.”
