Anwyl confirms first land acquisition in Audlem

Award-winning housebuilder Anwyl Homes is pleased to announce that it has acquired its first piece of land for residential development in Audlem.

The 13.6 acre site on Audlem Road is situated in a scenic rural setting which is surrounded by charming Cheshire countryside.  It also benefits from a good location close to the village centre of Audlem and is only 11km from the historical market town of Nantwich.

Anwyl Homes has already secured planning permission for a prestigious scheme of 120 properties.  The new residential development will be known as Heathfields and will offer a superb selection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes with 30% being affordable properties.

Renowned for its exceptional design and excellent build standards, each of the properties at Heathfields will feature carefully considered floor plans and a high quality specification.  A range of different house types will be available, providing plenty of choice for potential purchasers.

Mathew Anwyl, Housing Managing Director at Anwyl Homes, comments: “It is wonderful news that we have acquired land and secured planning consent for our first residential development in the village of Audlem.

In addition to the new development, Anwyl Homes has made a significant financial investment in the locality as part of planning consent, including a £261,000 contribution to secondary education and contributing £116,000 to healthcare.

A further transport contribution of £10,000 was made and will be used towards implementing an extension of the current 30mph speed limit zone on Audlem Road and Cheshire Street.

Anwyl Homes has also included public open space with play equipment on site, as well as introducing new and improving existing footpaths.

Construction will start at the end of this month and Anwyl Homes will open a sales cabin on site in March, followed by a show home in June.
