Hours:             8.30am – 5.15pm (Mon- Thurs)

8.30am – 4.00pm (Fri)

Salary:             Competitive Salary + Car Allowance

Reporting to:  Adoptions Manager

Location:          Head Office in Ewloe, North Wales. This role will require travelling to sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within the Engineering Team to support the Technical Department and wider Business Departments to ensure the efficient delivery and Adoption of development sites and focus on bond reduction
  • Assisting the Technical Dept. (both Design and Engineering Teams) in meeting their operational objectives.
  • Assist the Technical Dept. in managing our legacy sites and new sites to ensure Works are completed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Liaising with Adopting Authorities to achieve the issue of Certificates of Practical Completion and Final Certificates and assisting with ensuring Works are put onto Maintenance as soon as possible.
  • Assist the Adoptions Manager with Adopting Authorities and undertaking site inspections with the Adopting Authorities to agree necessary remedial works prior to Adoption.
  • Attending Meetings with Adoption manager and 3rd parties for progress of the adoptable elements of the site.
  • Data input and managing processes.
  • Review and survey developments for remedial Works prior to Adoption, including procuring CCTV of drains and other surveys that may be required and liaising with Local Authorities, Adopting Authorities and Statutory Undertakers as required to facilitate such surveys.
  • Review the Anwyl Homes Bond liability across all developments against our agreed Bond facility ceiling and monitor the extent of our liability. Seek to reduce Anwyl Homes Bond liability as soon as possible.
  • Procuring, programming, managing and supervising remedial works to ensure the timely Adoption of roads, sewers, pumping stations and open spaces covered under Section 38 & S278 and Section 102 and 104 and other Agreements as necessary.
  • At all times comply with Company policies, procedures and instructions.

Experience

  • Desirable Knowledge and experience of Adoption Processes and procedures
  • Experience of construction industry, ideally in road and sewers
