Congleton Rovers FC has raced straight to the top of the league in the style stakes after netting new training jackets from award-winning housebuilder, Anwyl Homes.
Taking into account the winter months ahead and not forgetting the unpredictable British weather all year round, Anwyl provided 25 lightweight shower proof coats for each member of Congleton Rovers’ mini soccer club.
Congleton Rovers FC is an FA Charter Standard Community Club based at Congleton High School, which is located next to Anwyl’s Somerford Grove development on Holmes Chapel Road.
The Club has a range of teams, from U7s to U18s who play in the Mid Cheshire Youth League, and the U11s Blackcats who play in the South Cheshire League.
The Club is committed to building up players individual football skills and encouraging teamwork. Then, as the players and teams develop, the Club focuses on the knowledge of the game and achieving results, with its philosophy of being competitive without trying to ‘win at all costs’ at the heart of all it does.
