Anwyl Homes’ site manager Ian Palmer has won a prestigious Seal of Excellence at the recent National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job awards 2019.
One of only 10 site managers in the whole of Wales to be presented with a Seal, Ian receives the accolade for excellence in site management at Anwyl’s Croes Atti development in Oakenholt, Flint, a scheme where he has already received NHBC Quality awards for the last two consecutive years.
In existence for more than 35 years, the NHBC’s Pride in the Job scheme is dedicated to recognising the industry’s very best performers.
To receive an award, site managers must score highly in all areas of build and site management including quality of workmanship, technical expertise, health and safety and leadership. Judges are looking for meticulous attention to detail and the special qualities and attributes that set award winning site managers apart from the rest.
Having worked in the construction industry for many years, Ian is a highly experienced site manager with an exceptional track record.
He commented: “I am thrilled to have received Quality awards for the last two years running, and to now receive a Seal of Excellence award, it really is a proud moment for me. The NHBC Pride in the Job awards are something that all site managers aspire to achieve and it is fantastic to be recognised. At Anwyl, we have a strong focus on quality, working together on site to deliver thoughtfully designed and expertly constructed homes for our purchasers, and a commitment to excellence is at the heart of everything that we do.”
Construction director at Anwyl Homes, Iain Murray, added: “It really is a fantastic achievement to win a Pride in the Job award two years in a row, and then to build on that with a Seal of Excellence is superb – so very well done to Ian and his team.”
