Anwyl Homes have launched sales at its much-anticipated Victoria Mills development in the sought-after Cheshire village of Holmes Chapel.
The Macclesfield Road venture will feature 138 new homes in a range of styles, including two-bedroom bungalows, and two, three and four-bedroom houses to suit families, first-time buyers and downsizers.
Victoria Mills is within walking distance of local shops, schools and the train station, and will include a play area and areas of green open space for residents and the wider community to enjoy.
A new pedestrian link will be created from the development to a footpath on Eastgate Road to provide easy access to the railway station and the centre of Holmes Chapel on foot.
Thomas Bradley, senior sales manager for Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said: “Holmes Chapel is a really popular location for home buyers and our sales launch has been highly anticipated in what is currently a booming Cheshire housing market. We had a full diary of appointments booked in over our launch weekend and are inviting other interested purchasers to book an appointment early to avoid missing out on their preferred property on the development.
“Demand for new homes is high and we are currently selling homes ‘off-plan’ that will be ready to move into in spring next year. Our show homes will also open later this year when homebuyers will be able to get a close-up view of our high specification. In the meantime, potential purchasers can make an appointment to visit our nearby developments to view show homes, including at Alexandra Gardens, in Crewe.
Two of the streets at Victoria Mills – George Jackson Avenue and James Walker Drive – are named after the founders of the Holmes Chapel Wall Paper Company, which originally occupied the land Anwyl is now developing. A third new road will be called Henry Cotton Way in honour of legendary golfer Sir Thomas Henry Cotton, who lived in a house at Victoria Mills as a young child.
Former occupants of the site Fine Décor have made a multi-million pound move into new premises in Congleton.
Prices for the first releases at Victoria Mills are from £256,995 to £394,995.
Properties just released include the three-bedroom, semi-detached Snowdon-style home.
The Snowdon spans three floors with clever design to make the most of space. On the ground floor is a modern kitchen, dining and living area where everyone can gather together, and on the first floor, two bedrooms and a family bathroom.
The main bedroom suite is on the upper floor and boasts an en-suite shower room and a dressing room.
Thomas added: “This really is a versatile property; an ideal home perhaps for a couple starting out or for a family looking for a little more room. The ground floor layout features a generous open living space whether you’re cooking, eating or relaxing – and the double doors leading from the lounge to the rear garden brings the outdoors in and gives this home real depth.”
The new sales centre is open for visitors by appointment only. Those who book an appointment will be able to view plans and brochures and speak to Anwyl’s friendly homes advisors for more information.
