Training and development
Anwyl is fundamentally behind the UK Government’s commitment to ensure maximum opportunity for training and employment for communities local to our projects.
Apprenticeships and training opportunities
As a leading building contractor in North Wales, Anwyl is committed to providing a range of professional training opportunities across all levels. Engaging in a variety of local and national initiatives, we seek to up-skill not only our current workforce, but also those aspiring to start a career in the construction industry.
Anwyl currently recruits apprentices via the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). Should you wish to be considered to become an Anwyl apprentice, and gain experience with one of the leading building contractors in North Wales, please contact the CITB. For further information, please refer to the online resources provided by CITB.
At present, we are recruiting joinery apprentices – either workshop bench joiners or site joiners. Should you wish to pursue an apprenticeship in a varying trade, we will be more than happy to provide you with details of sub-contractors from our approved supply chain, who may be able to be of assistance in providing an apprenticeship.
At Anwyl, we believe in offering young people experience of the construction and housing industry so that they get a feel for the many opportunities available in this sector. Not only do our work experience positions offer the chance to see a successful construction company operating on a day-to-day basis, they also give a more general insight into everyday working environments.
If you are a school pupil looking for work experience, we would love to hear from you.
Anwyl places a high importance on recruiting and developing the construction industry’s next generation, and providing them with foundations from college and university into the working world of construction.
If you are a school leaver, student, undergraduate or graduate, we want to hear from you.
